Grant to Produce Documentary on America’s Founding

Actor Morgan Freeman and singer Kenny Rogers lend their voices to a new documentary, “We The People”. The short film, sponsored by a coalition of businesses and foundations, recounts America’s founding. As part of the project’s filming, Kansas City’s Union Station displayed historical documents including first-edition copies of the Magna Carta, the Declaration of Independence, and the Federalist papers. The Kansas City Star covered the event and provided its readers a glimpse of the film.
