The Charles Koch Foundation seeks a Program Officer with a deep understanding and passion for advancing liberty to join the university investments team in Arlington, VA! The university investments team is an important component of the Foundation’s work to support programs that explore the institutions and ideas that foster well-being, including the principles of free societies.

This individual will be responsible for cultivating and managing relationships with university partners, as well as driving the foundation’s programs to support its research priorities and to assist graduate students in their pursuit of advanced degrees.

Your responsibilities include:
• Cultivate relationships with key faculty, administrators, and other stakeholders
• Collaborate across teams to drive results and effectively manage projects and relationships
• Make grant recommendations to decision makers
• Represent the foundation among university partners

Required knowledge and skills you bring to the team:
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and professionalism
• High level of humility and integrity
• Deep understanding of and passion for economic freedom and individual liberty
• 5+ years of related experience
• Advanced degree in economics, political science, or related field preferred
• Experience in higher education preferred

All candidates will be asked to submit a writing sample.
