We’re looking for a proactive go-getter to provide vital donor relations and moves management support to the Director of Development on a dynamic and high energy team working to promote the ideas of a free society. If you operate with a high sense of urgency, possess a customer-focused mentality, and have the ability to maintain composure while overcoming hurdles and adapting to shifting priorities at a moment’s notice – then this is the role for you!

Your responsibilities include:
– Support moves management tracking for development managers and 2 top national fundraisers.
– Assist in the identification and cultivation of opportunities for stewardship.
– Exercise sound judgement in prioritizing the Director’s time, understanding and partnering to help manage their portfolio, and ensuring adequate preparation of materials for meetings (including talking points, briefings, and bios).
– Collect and evaluate information from cross-team collaborations to bring perspective and make recommendations to the development team and understand investment opportunities to share with donors and potential donors.
– Maintain discretion and professionalism in managing the Director’s correspondence.

Required knowledge and skills you bring to the team:
– You have 2+ years of experience in a fundraising environment.
– You have a college degree or equivalent work experience.
– You enjoy, and have demonstrated competency with Project Management.
– You possess a high level of initiative, sense of urgency and demonstrated ability to anticipate needs.
– You have superior professionalism and ability to work well with all levels of staff.
– You demonstrate economic thinking to prioritize and create process improvements.
– You’re responsive, adaptive, and have the ability to create calm in the midst of chaos.
– Experience in SharePoint, Salesforce, Microsoft Outlook and Excel preferred.
– You convey excitement for advancing the ideas of a free society.
